Lock in your Starting Team

With deadline fast approaching, it’s time to move on from that first draft of a team and lock in your squad for the first few weeks. Once you have narrowed down to your favourite 15, make sure you select the eleven players whose points you want this week and put them on the field in your desired formation.

To change your formation, select a player that is on the bench. The players that can be swapped from the field will be highlighted green. Swap the substitute with an eligible player in a different position, and the formation will adjust accordingly. The formation can only be adjusted in line with the position rules outlined below.

You must have:

• A minimum of three defenders selected in your Starting Team

• A minimum of two midfielders selected in your Starting Team

• A minimum of one forward selected in your Starting Team

Sokkah Fantasy will not allow your team to save if one of these rules is not observed.

Choose your Captain and Vice-Captain

Your Captain will get you double points in a Gameweek, so choose wisely based on their matchup! Your Vice-Captain is essentially a contingency plan - if your Captain does not play for any reason, your Vice-Captain will have their score doubled instead.

To select your Captain, click on any player in your starting squad and click the ‘Captain’ toggle to give them the armband before saving your team.

Make sure you save it!

History is filled with the cries of fantasy managers who set the perfect team, only to find out they didn’t save it as the players they thought they had haul for others. The save button is bright yellow so you can’t miss it - make sure you click it any time you make changes to lock in your selections. Once deadline comes around at 7:30pm on Friday, your most recent saved team will be what is entered for the gameweek.

Join a H2H or Classic league

It’s not just the overall leaderboard you can compete on in Sokkah Fantasy, but you can also join and create Head to Head (H2H) or Classic Leagues to settle the score with mates.

Head to the Leagues page and click ‘join’ or ‘create’ a league to setup your own competition or join one that someone has shared with you.
Head to Head leagues pit all managers in a league against each other on a round robin basis, while classic leagues are a small version of the overall leaderboard, with managers ranked on total points across the season.

Enter your tips

Don’t forget that Sokkah Fantasy has tipping for both the A-League Men’s and Women’s competition as well. Head to the Tipping [LINK] page now, and enter your tips for both competitions. You get a point for the result, and a bonus if you get the correct score.
